Now for those reading
this you must have already tasted this exquisite cuisine, if not, get out of
your chair and go look for a Chinese restaurant near you!. Chinese Food is the
topic I have chosen because I like this type of food has really endeared itself
to me. If you continue reading, I hope that the next 6 paragraphs you read will
interest you and give you new ideas and a new point of view about Chinese food.
Did you know that most people before didn’t have different
varieties of restaurants to choose from? Now, people around the world can at
least have an experience of this cuisine by looking for a Chinese recipe in the
internet or by asking someone they know for a place to eat Chinese cuisine. People
before didn’t have the luxury we have today. To experience food from other
places, they would have to go there just to have a taste of their food. Today,
we are fortunate for having this modern technology that allows us to share
information faster because of the internet. We should be thankful that today,
we have restaurants around us that actually originated in other countries.
So where did Chinese cuisine come from? The answer is
quite obvious, China but what most people don’t know is that it wasn’t just
China that gave a say in Chinese cuisine. It was also influenced also by other
south-eastern Asia countries. You didn’t know that before did you? We now know
where Chinese cuisine came from. It wasn’t only from China but a group effort
from other south eastern Asia countries.
It’s my first time to write a blog and I can say that I
have done a lot of research about Chinese Cuisine, its traditions and origins.
According to a “travelguideinChina.com”, you should not eat directly when a
person is greeting you or else they would feel disrespected and will cause
displeasure. People in China have a tradition that the elders should have the
best food presented to them first. This is to show the Chinese value of respect
When you think about Chinese food or cuisine chopsticks
can’t be far away from your mind. Chopsticks look simple but don’t let your
eyes deceive you it is actually hard. Like they say “simple but complex”.
Chopsticks have been used by the Chinese and other countries for a long time
now. Did you know chopsticks make you
smarter because of the muscles and joints used when using it? Smart, huh?
In China, Chinese cuisine is also evident in special occasions.
For example, in birthdays they usually serve noodles in order to symbolize the longetivity
of Chinese life. When a father learns that he is going to have a son he will
serve red boiled eggs to his family and friends. Also in some Chinese holidays
they would have food that is in the theme of that holiday. Chinese are so creative
with their food. What type of food would you symbolize for a specific holiday in your country?
This is now the end of what I have to say. I am thankful
that you have read this whole article about Chinese food. I hope that you have
learned something new and found what you were looking for when you clicked on
this blog. Thanks for reading and have a
nice day!
